May 8 Reading Week
Saturday May 13 Final Exam 8-11 AM  120 Latimer

Homework includes a book report on one of the books in a list to be posted (on the bulletin board and electronically) or one approved in advance. The book selected ideally will teach you additional physics as well as about scientists and how science is done. The book report is expected to be approximately two to four typewritten (printed) pages along with a couple of pages of handwritten notes (your handwriting) of your reading of the book showing the points you learned from each chapter. (This latter requirement comes previous classes in which a few individuals utilized other people's reports.) This book report can be handed in at any time with a final manditory due date in lecture on April 14.

There is also a research report which is a brief (approximately one to two page) report of a recent popular scientific article. Its due date is March 10.

Homework and exam solutions will be posted on the bulletin board outside of the Physics 10 TA/Consulting Room 235 LeConte.
