Richard Taillet

is a PhD student in theoretical astrophysics, under the direction of Pierre Salati. He worked at LBNL in the summer 1994, and works there in July and August 1995. He comes from the ENSLAPP group of the particle physics laboratory LAPP, in Annecy (France).

He works with Pierre Salati on the possibility that dark matter could be present in great amount in Globular Clusters in the form of low-mass compact objects, without affecting the vible component properties, and on the possible detection methods for this Dark Matter. He also works on the propagation of cosmics rays in our galaxy, and the applications to constraint the Dark Matter aboundance.
