This is an extremely exciting time in cosmology. We have made a number of outstanding discoveries that have provided us with both new fundamental questions as well as tools we can exploit to deepen our understanding of the universe. Berkeley has been the pioneer and leader in this area, and will continue to be with BCCP.

The emergence of precision cosmology in the last decade will continue to have a revolutionary impact on our view of the universe. Because cosmology includes other sciences such as physics, maths, and computation, this interdisciplinary relationship reflects generations of research necessary for investigating the complexity of the cosmos.

In theory and observation, Berkeley has a unique combination of people and projects. Our research covers the earliest epochs of the universe to the present. Your contribution will help continue its leadership role with the Center for Cosmological Physics.
