Dr. Jodi Lamoureux Christiansen

works on astrophysics and cosmology projects to utilize ultra-high energy astrophysical neutrinos (KM3 and AMANDA) to investigate AGN central engines, Gamma-Ray Bursts (GRBs), QUASARS, and neutrino physics.

Jodi was an undergraduate at Harvey Mudd College in Claremont California. She went to University of Wisconsin in Madison where she got her PhD in high energy physics. Her thesis topic was "Direc b-bbar production in p-pbar collisions at 1.8 TeV." After getting her Ph.D., Jodi worked at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory as a post doc in the Brandeis team working on CDF. Jodi was co-convenor of the QCD working group.
