Atomic Hydrogen Kinematics
If we assume that the atomic hydrogen in the galaxy follow circular orbits
around the galactic centre, it is straightforward to calculate the expected
line-of-sight velocity of gas at radius R where the angular velocity
of the Galaxy is Omega(R) as a function of its galactic latitude
