Neutrino Oscillation Detection by KM3
High-energy neutrino detectors can be used to detect
neutrino oscillations.
High-energy neutrino astronomy by using very distant sources of neutrinos
has the possibility of improving neutrino oscillation measurements
or limits by about 5 orders of magnitude.
The fundamental scientific motivation for neutrino oscillation detection
is the basic physics.
There appears to be a need for this based upon
the Solar neutrino problem and possibly the atmospheric neutrino
anomaly.

One detects the relative abundance of all three flavors of neutrinos.
